    Kanban Leadership Professional I (KLP1)

    Summary

    In this course, students will explore the seven levels of leadership maturity and the associated character traits. They will learn about different leadership styles and when to use them, including leading by direction, example, inspiration, and signaling. By integrating theories from philosophy, psychology, neuroscience, and sociology, students will gain a deep understanding of human behavior and group dynamics. The course also covers the concept of social entropy and how leadership actions fit into the broader context of organizational maturity and complexity science.

    • Understand the seven levels of leadership maturity and their character traits.
    • Learn various leadership styles and appropriate contexts for each.
    • Develop empathy and a deep understanding of human behavior.

    Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive certification from Kanban University for the Kanban Leadership Professional I course.

    To receive certificates, participants must attend and actively engage in all sessions. This includes completing all hands-on exercises, simulations, and group discussions.

    Participants who complete both the Kanban Leadership Professional I and Kanban Leadership Professional II courses will earn the Kanban Leadership Professional (KLP) credential from Kanban University.

    The Kanban Leadership Professional (KLP) credential consists of two advanced courses focused on operational management and leadership within the context of business agility transformation.   • Prerequisites

    No prior course work is necessary. The Enterprise Scale Kanban course is encouraged.
